The Underrated Rokkor 45mm f/2

As a recent addition to my Rokkor lens collection, the 45mm f/2 is such a solid performer for it’s cost and small size. The common noted drawbacks for this lens are its minimum focus distance of 2 feet and a “busy” bokeh, both of which I can deal with. More important for me is that the lens is sharp and the color rendering is quite good. It’s the cheapest Rokkor lens I have but it’s the one that I’ve been using the most as of late, so that’s all that matters.

All photos shown were captured with the Fujifilm X-E1.
